Asolva has declared a new way to fight against antimicrobial resistance by joining the U.S government’s Antimicrobial Challenge (AMR).
The U.S. government’s Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) Challenge was launched in September 2018 and is a yearlong effort to accelerate the fight against antimicrobial resistance across the globe.
Joining over 300 organizations around the world, Asolva submitted an actionable commitment to help improve appropriate antibiotic use (sometimes called antibiotic stewardship).
Asolva’s commitment involves its flagship product MEDICI®
, a cloud-based antibiotics use reporting platform uniquely designed for hospitals of all sizes.
Having served as IT professionals in healthcare for nearly 20 years, Asolva, Inc. commits to work with public health agencies to enable antibiotic use reporting at any health care facility regardless of size, geography, infrastructure, and resources. Asolva aims to partner with state health departments to expand antibiotic use reporting to CDC’s National Healthcare Safety Network with the use of their reporting technology that will work with any hospital for a low cost.
